PERSIMMONS by Chris Palmquist: A recently returned -- true-blue, deep-down Townie in every sense of the word. Chris grew up here in the Ojai Valley; Nordhoff High School, The Ojai Playhouse, Ojai Ice-Cream and driving too fast through the illustrious Dip on the East End. Off to college and around the world -- we are all so glad he and his beautiful words have found their way back.
